Birthday today!
Boxes
It’s been a busy month – a lot of it taken up with moving house. After a couple of years out at the beach at Warrington, we have moved back into Dunedin to look after a friends house for a year while he is overseas. Thanks Andrew.
I have just finished another magazine for work and looking forward to some summer break . . . also catching up with my sister who returns from the UK for a few weeks.
Strange event for November: returning from a work related trip to Wellington, I was picked up at the airport. On the way home, driving over the motorway just on dusk, we were flagged down by some teenagers (female) standing in the middle of the road who demanded a ride then tried to steal the keys and “carjack” us. We managed to accelerate away and call the police. What happened afterwards? Who knows.
Reactivation
I’ve moved over my web activity to this blog now . . . the other website is currently being “worked on.”
In the meantime, here is a picture of butterfly we found in the garden yesterday.
Dormancy terminated
The blog has been on the ice for a few months while some other projects got priority. Glad to say that I have had some time to get the beast cranked up again. Over the next few days I’ll roll out some posts dealing with some of those other activities – such as getting my new record online and also some politics.
